Future Tri-State Champion

We specialize in shotgun sports (sorry, no rifles or pistols!) and offers 6 trap fields, a skeet range and a 5-stand. The club was established to encourage organized clay target shooting and fosters the development of patriotism, honesty, good fellowship, self-discipline, team play, and personal responsibility.

The club is open to the public during normal business hours, as listed. Club members have full access to the facility including use of a spacious clubhouse. Guests are welcome to use the facility during normal business hours and are welcome to host events at the club for a nominal donation. Annual club activities include hosting multiple Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA) registered shoots per year as well as an annual member picnic and Holiday party.

American Trap

Trapshooting is practiced all over the world. Trapshooting variants include but are not limited to international varieties Olympic trap, also known as “International Trap”, “Bunker”, ISSF Trap. and “Trench”; Double trap also an Olympic event.

American Skeet

American skeet is administered by the National Skeet Shooting Association (NSSA) and targets are shot in a different order and are slower than in Olympic skeet. There is also no delay after the shooter has called for them, and the shooter may do this with the gun held “up”, i.e. pre-mounted on the shoulder.

Five Stand

Five Stand is a type of shotgun sport shooting similar to sporting clays, trap and skeet. There are five stations, or stands and six to eighteen strategically placed clay target throwers (called traps). Shooters shoot in turn at various combinations of clay birds.
